MEET JOSHUA KRELL
My name is Joshua Krell. I am a full time guitar instructor and have taught over 1,700 students of all ages since 2017. I earned a degree in Audio Engineering and Music Production in 2015. Following schooling I gained significant experience as a professional music producer, songwriter and session guitar player. I had the chance to work in various home recording setups, and with local professional recording studios and in a lot of live sound mixing as well as a Front of House mixing engineer.
I am a conservatory instructor with the Oaks Conservatory at the Oaks Classical Christian Academy a classical private school serving grades k-12 based in Spokane, WA.
I also have had extensive experience leading bands of wide age demographics, in both secular and worship settings. I’ve produced or played on over 200 songs for songwriters and artists all over the country.

ACCOUNTABILITY AND EXPECTATION TO GROW
As your teacher, I can give you the tools you need to make you great. However, if you do not put in the effort, you will not improve. Therefore, I expect you to practice the exercises from lessons each and every day. Daily practice is the key to conditioning your fingers and mind to improve your skill. It is much better to practice a shorter time daily, than to practice for a long time once or twice a week. Thus, not only do I teach you, I keep you accountable.
THE REWARDS OF PLAYING GUITAR
Learning any instrument is hard work. Because of this is, guitar lessons will teach you valuable life skills. Three of these important life skills are work ethic, time management, and listening. These traits are valuable to any young student as it builds character. However, guitar isn’t just for kids. Playing the guitar will improve your memory and coordination and will sharpen your focus. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Cancellations
In the event that a student must reschedule, at least 24 hours notice is needed. There is no guarantee of a reschedule the week of the lesson. If there is not ample notice, the student is expected to pay for that lesson. If I have to cancel a lesson the time will be credited towards another lesson.
How do I get setup with Guitar Pro?
Guitar Pro is the software learning environment in lessons. It allows you more easily learn your favorite songs. When you become a student of mine you become eligible for 50% off of the full version of Guitar Pro. Normally this is $70 when purchased at guitar-pro.com.

How do lessons work?
The student signs up for lessons, confirms an available time slot with the instructor, sends payment via provider to reserve seat, instructor then sends the link for the Zoom call and provides link to the Dropbox pickup folder for students to receive their assignments.
